What do you think you should do with these pairs of numbers? Add? Subtract? Multiply? Divide?
Answered by Anonymous
I'm pretty sure that you could either multiply or divide.
Answered by Ms. Sue
Which one will give you reasonable answers?

Answered by Anonymous
For B, I'd multiply it by 2 to get 90, then mutliply $2.75 by 2 to get 5.50.

Multiplication works better for me.

But then again, it's asking for the lowest rate per MINUTE.
Answered by Ms. Sue
Do you mean that you'd pay $5.50 per minute??
The company only charges $2.75 for 45 minutes!!

Ohh.

Well, know I to divide instead.
Can I take $5.50 and divide it by 90 to get my answer for B?

So here are my results for all:
Company A: 0.07 c/minute
Company b: 0.06 c/minute
Company C: 0.05 c/minute

So the answer would be C?
