For this case, the first thing you have to keep in mind is that we are in the presence of a piece function.
We have then:
For [0, 5]:
A car traveling at 46 mi / h slows to a speed of 23 mi / h in 5 seconds.
For [5, 10]:
It maintains that speed for 5 seconds.
For [10, 15]:
then slows to a stop after 5 more seconds.
In this case:
x axis: represents time
y axis: represents the speed.
Answer:
See attached image for the graphic v (t) vs t.

Ok guys it is the graph that starts at 46 because that is the starting speed then it drops to 23 for 5 seconds and keeps going lower. I think that is right please don’t hold it against me! And if you guys want the test answers some needs to right all of them out because they are changed around

You guys aren't understanding! For Connnections Academy, they switch around the test answers or change up the questions. Not everyone is going to have the same question as you so, your best bet is to look up HELP for each answer instead of the whole test. Also I recommend reading the lesson and learning about the topic so you won't have so much trouble on the test, quiz, quick check, etc. Just try to learn and don't cheat. Good luck guys! I wish you all good grades. :)

The graph that shows the car's speed over time would start at 46, drop to 23 for 5 seconds, and then go to 0 after 5 more seconds.
