if the father's explanation is correct, why dint it work?
a = 5b
a = 3j
a+b+j = 1380
We know that
b = a/5
j = a/3
so,
a + a/5 + a/3 = 1380
a=900
So,
Ahmed had 900
Babita had 180
John had 300
a = 5b
a = 3j
a+b+j = 1380
We know that
b = a/5
j = a/3
so,
a + a/5 + a/3 = 1380
a=900
So,
Ahmed had 900
Babita had 180
John had 300

Let Babita share =x
Ahmad share=x/5
John share=x/3
A/q-
x+x/5+x/3=1380
15x+3x+5x/15=1380
23x/15=1380
23x=1380(15)
x=20700/23
=900
So, x=900
x/5=180
x/3=300
Ahmad share=x/5
John share=x/3
A/q-
x+x/5+x/3=1380
15x+3x+5x/15=1380
23x/15=1380
23x=1380(15)
x=20700/23
=900
So, x=900
x/5=180
x/3=300
