If (x+2)² = 25 and x > 0, what is the value of x?

I have no idea what to put for x, if someone could please show me the steps ?

what is the square root of each side?

(x+2)=+- 5
so x can be one of two values. Do first with +5, then do with -5.

I get -7, and 3
