    multiply the 1st by 3 : 45x - 36y = 39
multiply the 2nd by 4: 120x + 36y = 16
add them:
165x = 55
x = 55/165 = 1/3
sub back into the 2nd
30(1/3) + 9y = 4
10 + 9y = 4
9y = -6
y = -2/3

multiply the 2nd by 4: 120x + 36y = 16
add them:
165x = 55
x = 55/165 = 1/3
sub back into the 2nd
