Two planes, which are
2660 miles apart, fly toward each other. Their speeds differ by 65 mph. If they pass each other in 4 hours, what is the speed of each?

If the slow plane's speed is x mi/hr, then since distance=speed*time,

4x + 4(x+65) = 2660
