Give the next term in the following sequence:
16, 36, 64, 81, 100, ...

16 = 4^2
36 = 6^2
64 = 8^2
81 = 9^2
100 = 10^2

I see no obvious pattern

the 9^2 does not fit the otherwise obvious pattern.

Pattern is squares of non-prime numbers: 4^2 6^2 8^2 9^2 10^2 next term is 12^2= 144
