Ms. Sue could you please help me with this question:A rectangular room is 6 meters longer than it is wide, and its perimeter is 28 meters. Find the dimension of the room.
The length is:_____meters and the width is___meters.

P = 2L + 2W

28 = 2(W + 6) + 2W

28 - 2W + 12 + 2W

16 = 4W

? = W

So ms. Sue I get 4 for the width after i 16/4. How do I find the length? Will it be 6(4)?
