How to simplify by factorising and dividing:
(6x^2-11x-10)/(2x-5)

Wouldn't you be a bit suspicious that perhaps 2x-5 factors into the top?
why not try it.
(2x-5)(.......) = 6x^2 - 11x - 10
You should be able to figure out the second factor without actually dividing.
