(1) Kareem has 216 role-playing game cards. His goal is to collect all 15 sets of cards. There are 72 cards in a set. How many more cards dose Kareem need to reach his goal?




(2) Nichole has $9 to spend on cards. She finds friends with the same amount of money to spilt the cost of a set. One set costs $27. Each friend gets the same number of cards. How many cards dose each friend get?


(3) math and science : A power plant has 4tons of coal. A ton of coal proudes 2,460 kilowatt hours of electricty. Is this enough to power 9 light bulbs for a year ? Explain Hint: it takes 876 kilowatts hours of electricity to power a 100-watts light bulbs for a year

he need total: 72 x 15
he has 216.
he needs 72 x 15 minus 216

2. each friend gets 1/3 of the cards.

3. 9 bulbs for a year take 876x9 kilowatts.
876x9=7884kilowatts
power plant can produce 4x2460=you do it, but it is more than needed above.
