I did this, but i don't think its right for this problem and I don't know where to go from here. Help please

factor x^3-5x-2 x^2+10

(x^3-5x-2x^2)+10
x (x^2-2x-5)+10

x^3-2x^2 -5x+10
x^2(x-2) -5(x-2)
(x^2-5)(x-2)
