12.5 ft (.5 in/2 ft) = 3.125 in
11.5 ft (.5 in/ 2 ft) = 2.875 in
so
2*3.125 + 2*2.875 = 12 in
11.5 ft (.5 in/ 2 ft) = 2.875 in
so
2*3.125 + 2*2.875 = 12 in
