When metro stops at same time we felt a jerk in backward direction but according to inertia we should be feel in farward direction i.e. Acc to me intertia contradict (which not possible)
then why we feel jerk in backward direction?????

the brakes have released, and the negative acceleration has ended, giving a slight positive acceleration and you jerk back.

you are talking about a positive acceleration but i have seen or observe that once wheel stop...wheel stay at their position w.r.t. rail.........when wheel is not moving so there is no possibilities of positive acceleration
just give a reason.
