Because I was trying to confirm the following:
Calculate the Volume in Cubic Feet of a section of drainage pipe that measures 8 feet in length and 24 inches in diameter. I know that all measurements must be un the same units.
So there re 12 inches in 1 foot...so it would be 12*8=96 inches
3.14*12=37.68*12=452.16*96=43407.36
then I have to convert to cubic feet.
43407.36^1728= 25.12 cubic feet
IS this correct

The radius of the pipe is 1foot, so the area of the end is PI * 1^2 or PI sqft.
