A group of 21 people have enough food for 24 days. If 15 additional people join them, they would have enough food for only___days. (Assume everyone eats the same amount of food each day)

say each eats one pound per day :)

I have 21 * 24 = 504 pounds

now I have 21 + 15 = 36 people or 36 lb/day

504 pounds/36 lbs/day = 14 days
