Kim is 7 years older than May. If three times Kim's age plus 5 times May's age is equal to 165, what are the ages of Kim and May?

3(m+7) + 5 m = 165

Kim is x+7years and May is x years old. So 3(x+7) + 5x = 165. 8x + 21 = 165. 8X= 144 X= 18. So Kim is 18+7 which is 25years and May is 18years
