how do you figure out how many pennant flags you'll need for a 12 ft string?! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the size of the pennant flag?

well, i'm using 9 in. by 12 in. paper, and the diagonal is 15. i'm not really sure.

You could make the short side of the pennant either 9 inches (0.75 foot) or 6 inches (0.5 foot).

So -- divide 12 by 0.75 or divide 12 by 0.5.
