Let x equal the age, in human years, for a dog that is 2 years old or older.
For each of your chosen breeds, write an expression to model its age in dog
years. [Hint: Use (x - 2) in each expression.]
These are the dog years:
2yrs: 23 yrs old
3yrs: 27 yrs old
4yrs: 31 yrs old
5yrs: 35 yrs old
.....Now I'm having trouble writing the expression's ?? Make since?

Note that y increases by 4 when x increases by 1. So, the slope is 4.
That should help.

We came up with the following example:
24+[5(z)]
----------
x-2-y
24+10=34
----------
4-2=2 2-1=1
x=34
This would be for a 4 year old med. size dog.
In other words...
24+10=34
-----------
1
34/1=34
x=34
Not sure if that's the proper way to write the equation but I'd love to hear what others came up with.
