If aluminum has a density of 2.78 g/ml, how much space would 32 grams occupy?

mass = volume x density.
You have mass and density. Volume is the only unknown so solve for it.
Answered by Joe
32 g X (1 mL / 2.78 g) = 11.51079137 mL

The g will cancel out, and you will be left with the mL unit, which is a unit of volume.
