Question

piece wise function{y=x^2-2, x=<1 and y=1.5x-2.5, x>1. find slope of tangent at x=1 of piece wise function.

So is it 2, 1.5, or no tangent? I am confused by the 2 graphs(piecewise).

tangent is not defined at x = 1. Slope is 2 on the left and 1.5 on the right.
