√2 + sin = cos
cos - sin = √2
cos^2 - 2sin*cos + sin^2 = 2
-2sin*cos = 1
sin(2x) = -1/2

I guess you can take it from there, right? Watch out for spurious solutions (where cos-sin = -√2)
