On Monday, Lance rode his bike 8 miles. On Tuesday, he rode twice as much as the day before. If the pattern continues, how many miles will lance ride his bike on Thursday?

I have a hard time figuring out mile problems. Please help.

Mon. 8
Tue. 8 * 2 = x

Figure Thursday's miles. Then add the miles for each day.
