If the markup is x%, then
(1+x/100)*.84 = 1.12
x = 33.33% = 1/3
1200 * 4/3 = 1600
check:
1600*.84 = 1344 = 1200*1.12
(1+x/100)*.84 = 1.12
x = 33.33% = 1/3
1200 * 4/3 = 1600
check:
1600*.84 = 1344 = 1200*1.12
