My question is: A cheeseburger costs twice as much as a can of coke. If a cheeseburger and a can of coke cost €2.10, how much is the cheeseburger.

Let c = can of Coke

c + 2c = 2.1

3c = 2.1

c = 0.70

let the price of coKe be X
cheeseburger=2x
hence 2x+x=2.10
3\3x=2.10\3
x=0.7
therefore, 0.7x2=1.4
cheeseburger=1.4
