Please help me on these questions.
1. Tom swapped 2/5 og his marbles gor 9 of Martha's. How many has Tom now?
I got 15. I'm not sure if it's right.
2. A second-hand book shopmade a profit of €8 bh selling 10 books at €1.90 each. What price 2
was paid for the books when they were bought?
I got €61 or €152.
3. What is the next term of this sequence: 8, 4, 2, 1, _?
I think they're going in two's so it might be zero probably. I'm not sure

1. I will assume that by "swapped" you mean the same number
so (2/5)x = 9
2x = 45
x = not a whole number, so my assumption is wrong
Not enough information
2. so he sold them for 10(1.90) = 19.00
This includes a profit of 8.00 so the purchase price was 11.00 for the 10 books.
Your two answers, (why two ??) make absolutely no sense.
3. notice that a number is divided by 2 to get the next one, so
1 ÷ 2 = 1/2
so (2/5)x = 9
2x = 45
x = not a whole number, so my assumption is wrong
