3. What is the value of "y" if y + 5 =21+5?
4. If you subtract an odd number from an odd number, is the answer an odd number or an even number?
5. A country newsagent sells 60 newspaper on a Sunday and an average of 25 newspaper each of the other days. What is her daily average for the whole week?
6. €10 is divided in the ratio 1:3. How much is the larger share?

y + 5 - 5 = 21 + 5 - 5

3-1 = 2

(60 + 6*25) /7

1 x + 3 x = 4 x = 10
x = 10/4 = 5/2

3 x = 15/2 = 7.5
