ok so I asked a question like this before and I understood how to do it and a cuple more like it but now I don't understand how to do this on .....
I keep on trying to find the answer but I just don't understand what I am supposed to do

The first thing that you to is distribute the -5 to both the terms in parenthesese.
So you get -10W-5=25.
than you add five to both sides and get -10w=30.
The last thing you do is divide both sides by -10.
w=-3.

To solve the equation -5(2w + 1) = 25, you can apply a few steps.
Step 1: Distribute the -5 to the terms inside the parentheses:
-5 * 2w - 5 * 1 = 25
-10w - 5 = 25
Step 2: Move the constant term to the other side of the equation by adding 5 to both sides:
-10w - 5 + 5 = 25 + 5
-10w = 30
Step 3: Divide both sides of the equation by -10 to isolate the variable w:
-10w / -10 = 30 / -10
w = -3
So the solution to the equation -5(2w + 1) = 25 is w = -3.
If you're still having trouble, make sure to double-check each step and apply the order of operations correctly. It can also be helpful to write out each step on paper or use a calculator to perform the calculations.
