Why would some people like having music as their art in school?

I don't think anyone could give you a precise reason. The reasons probably differ from person to person.

Someone likes the sounds of a particular instrument.
Someone likes the measured notes -- finding it similar to math.
Someone simply likes it and cannot explain it.
Etc.

Ask yourself why someone would like painting ... or ceramics ... or metal sculpture. You'll probably get as many answers as there are people!

I think that they will like painting or ceramics cause there are many people which like to create stuffs and paints.Just like in Music class like all of my friends wanted.
