How do you calculate percent recovery?
I have this info:
Weight of sample used: 0.198g
Actual weight of sample: 0.325g
Other info needed?
What you have posted is confusing. What do you mean by "actual weight of sample?" Is that different than the weight of sample used? I suspect you meant actual weight of recovered sample was 0.325. What was the recovered sample?
%recovery = [Actual mass recovered/theoretical mass]x 100.
If you will post the entire problem I expect we can help.
