Please help me understading this question
"a cycling club has 2/3 boys, 2/9 girls and 3 adults. how many are in club? write an equation and solve"

6/9x + 2/9x + 3 = x

8/9x + 3 = x

3 = 1/9x

3/(1/9) = x

3 * 9 = x

27 = x

times 9
6x + 2x + 27 = 9x
x = 27
