(4b^4+2) - (7b^2-5) - (6b^4-2b^2)

How do you exactly solve/simplify this? I get confused with the signs when it comes to adding/subtracting terms like these. Thanks much!

Remember two rules.
1. Remove parentheses, changing the signs inside the parentheses IF the outside side is negative but not changing if the outside sign is +.
2. Combine like terms.

(4b^4+2) - (7b^2-5) - (6b^4-2b^2)

4b^4+2-7b^2+5-6b^4+2b^2=
Now just add like terms and go from there if it can be simplified further.
