a long distance call costs .50 for the first minute, and then .9 for each additional minute. If the call lasted 10 minutes, how much did the call cost in cents? Thanks

I hope you meant $.09 per extra minute. Seems kinda harsh to make the 1st minute cheaper.

50+9*(10-1) = ?

At any rate, you apparently have trouble with decimal numbers.
