well, geez -- get rid of the parentheses and collect terms!
4+2(x+5) / 14-2(x+5)
= 4+2x+10 / 14-2x-10
= 14+2x / 4-2x
= (7+x)/(2-x)
4+2(x+5) / 14-2(x+5)
= 4+2x+10 / 14-2x-10
= 14+2x / 4-2x
= (7+x)/(2-x)
