There are more than one correct answers to this question. One would be
f(x) = x^2 and g(x) = 2x+1

Another would be
f(x) = x + 1 and g(x) = 4x^2 + 4x

Another would be
g(x) = (2x+2)^2 and f(x) = sqrt x

One could come up with other correct answers.
