Numbers "dividing evenly" has nothing to do with the numbers being even.
A number is said to divide into another <b>evenly</b>, if there is a zero remainder after the division.
e.g. 15 ÷ 3 = 5 , (note none of the numbers are even)
15 is evenly divisible by 3
but 18 ÷ 4 = 4 with a remainder of 2
(note both numbers are even, but 18 does not divide evenly by 4)
