The total area of two square windows is 1,025^2 in.2. Each side of the larger window is 5 in. longer than the sides of the smaller window. How long are the sides of the smaller window?

a.13.5 in.
b.20 in.

Please help me and explain

let smaller window be x by x
let the larger window be (x+5) by (x+5)


so: x^2 + (x+5)^2 = 1025

expand and solve the quadratic
