Find the derivative algebraically.

g(t) = t^2 + t
at
t = −1

I can't seem to start this problem correctly. What is the process required for this question?

1 answer

g(t) = t^2+t
g'(t) = 2t+1, so
g'(-1) = 2(-1)+1
