0 Hi,
It's not a nursing interview but I have an interview for Dietary aide on Tuesday. I will be attending nursing school on September 8th, 2015. how should I answer on a question, "Why are you qualified for this position?"
How can I use my education as a qualification? Thanks. ANY tips appreciated!!!

What is your experience for the job of dietary aide? A bachelor's in math wouldn't be an adequate qualification.

Thank you Ms Sue!
I really don't have any specific education that is towards dietary aide (I.E, food and nutrition degree), however, I am working at McDonald's with food handler's certificate.
Can I say something such as long-term goal toward a hospital since I am attending nursing school?

What qualifies you now for this position now is your job as a food handler.
Your long term goal is something different -- should be mentioned, but is not a qualification for the job.

I see.
Also, is the question also asking me what my strengths are? (If the interviewer did not ask what my strength and weaknesses are?)
I had an interview couple of days ago...I pretty much blanked out. :| But I have another interview on tuesday~

Your qualifications may include your strengths. Your attention to detail and your record as a team player could help you qualify for the job.

As for my weakness, would this be a positive thing?
my greatest weakness is working too much. for example as a crew trainer my responsibility is to delegate tasks to staff, however, I always do everything by myself because I want to finish everything the way I want it, perfect.
