You walk for 15 mins at 3.8m/s and then decide to run for 12 minutes at 2.5m/s. What is your average speed?
My work: 15m+12m=27mins. 3.8m+ 2.5m=6.3m/s. 27+6.3= 33.3 (move decmil) to 3.33m/s

You walk faster than you run, typoo I think
15 min * 60 s/min = = 900 seconds
12 min * 60 s/min = 720 seconds
You spent 1620 seconds on this crazy trip
You went
900*3.8 = 3420
720*2.5 = 1800
so 5220 meters
5220meters/1620seconds = 3.22 m/s
15 min * 60 s/min = = 900 seconds
12 min * 60 s/min = 720 seconds
