Question

I have to write a critical lens essay using 3 literary elements from the book to prove the following quote true "Only a wise man knows this truth; the only way to help yourself is to help others" I think i am going to use Conflict and Resolution, but i don't no what other element to use. For conflict i am doing Amir as Man vs. Himself and Baba as Man vs Himself, do you have any other ideas? For Resolution I am doing about redemption, when Sohrab comes to live with Amirs family, again any other ideas? And i don't know anything else. I was thinking of setting, but i don't know how. Like could i symbolize that somehow Afganisan like didn't help others and couldn't help itself of something? Or what about symbols or theme? Thanks So Much

As I've stated before, I think the setting is a crucial element in this book. The story evolves from Afghanistan's culture.
