The parallel sider of a trapezium are 25 cm and 11 cm, while its nonparallel sides are 15 cm and 13 cm. find the area of the trapezium.

The area is 12(11+25)/2

Altitude h = 12 I think
on one side you have a 5, 12, 13 right triangle
and on the other a 9 , 12 , 15 right triangle (a 3,4,5 times 3)
so
average base = (11+25)/2 = 18
altitude = 12
area = 12 * 18
