1.Simplify the following expression.
4(20+12)÷(4-3)
4(20+12 ÷ 1
4 32 ÷ 1
128
2.A gym membership cost $25 to join and $14 a month. Write and use an algebraic expression to find the cost of the gym membership for 6 months.
$25+$14x6m
=$109
Did I solve the problems correctly? I have a major feeling that I did #2 wrong, If so can you tell me the correct way to write the algebraic expression . I'm very horrible at writing algebraic expressions.

#1 is good
#2 is also good, though I don't know why you added the "m" at the end. If you are trying to indicate units, then you should write
$25 + $14/m * 6m
so the "m" units cancel, leaving only $
In simple problems like this, it's usually easier to ignore the units, since the proper formula will take care of them.
25+14m
gives the cost for m months, so 25+14*6 works here.

I know this is from years ago, but anyone from present day or the future using this for answers, he wrote the expression wrong (or it's changed in the current test) this is the answer to the Algebra 1 Foundations of Algebra Unit Test Part II (2020)
4(20+12)÷(5-3)
4(20+12÷2)
4(32÷2)
4(16)
=64
4(20+12)÷(5-3)
4(20+12÷2)
4(32÷2)
4(16)
=64
