Tony would like yo build a circular pond with depth of 1.5 feet in her backyard. She is considering how many fish a pond will hold. The home and garden store recommends 1 goldfish for every 3 square feet of surface area or 1koi for every 10 square feet of surface area. Complete the chart to determine how many fish Mrs. Jung could have in a pond with a radius of 2,3,or 4 feet. Use 3.14 as the value for pi.

A = pi * r^2
A = 3.14 * 2^2
A = 3.14 * 4
A = 12.56 square feet
She could have 4 goldfish or 1 koi for the pond with a 3 foot radius.
I'm sure you can figure out the other areas.
