What is basically difference between the following :
1)Internal energy and latent heat
2)Internal energy and potential energy
I'm really confused , because they're so close in meaning.

latent heat is energy that does not result in a temperature change. Latent energy is part of internal energy.
some internal energy is available as potential energy
