How to find the volume of the solvent that is added to a diluted solution.

It is very simple just subtract the final volume from the initial volume, you will get the volume of the solvent that you add to the make the solution dilute (V2 - V1).
If you do not know how to find the final volume, then you need to use the formula C1V1 = C2V2
Substitute all the known values in the equation, and find V2. Using V2, find volume of solvent.
