                How do I solve these equations? I need to create an equation given the characteristics? I have to be able to graph a parabola but first I need help solving this.

    1. D(0.5,1), V(h,1), F(1.5,1).
F - D = 1/2a.
1.5-0.5 = 1/2a.
1/2a = 1.
2a = 1.
a = 0.5.
h-0.5 = 1/4a = 1/2 = 0.5.
h = 1.0.
X = a(y-k)^2 + h.
X = 0.5(y-1)^2 + 1. Vertex form.
X = 0.5(y^2-2y+1).
X = 0.5y^2 -y + 1.5. Standard form.
