Gasoline in Great Britain costs 1.40 euros per liter. What is the American equivalent cost in Dollars per Gallon? (A "euro" in Britain is equal to $1.59 in American)...Please help me answer this!!!!!

The problem with this question is that Great Britain doesn't use the euro. It uses the pound sterling.

The question can be answered but technically it is incorrect. The conversion factors you need are as follows:
1.40 euro/L x ($1.59/euro) x (3.78 L/gallon) = ??
Check my thinking. Check that the units you don't want cancel and that the units you want to keep are in the answer.
