how do I write 6 2/3 + 3 4/5 to its simpliest form. This is how I did it. Could someone tell me if its write?. Or give me the proper steps to doing this?

6 2/3 + 3 4/5 = 20/15 + 19/15= 39/15=
2 9/15 = 2 3/5

1 answer

6 2/3 = 20/3, not 20/15
so, what you have is

20/3 + 19/35
= 100/15 + 19/15
= 119/15
= 7 14/15
