10.5% w/w means 10.5 g sucrose in 100 g solution. So how much is in 1,500 g solution?
(g solute/g solution)*100 = %
(g solute/1500)*100 = 10.5
Solve for g solute.
(g solute/g solution)*100 = %
(g solute/1500)*100 = 10.5
Solve for g solute.
