    distance = rate x time + rate x time
22 = 30(x) + 18 (1-x)
22 = 30x + 18 -18x
x = time of car
Find and multiply it by 30 to find distance traveled in the car.

22 = 30(x) + 18 (1-x)
22 = 30x + 18 -18x
x = time of car
Find and multiply it by 30 to find distance traveled in the car.

    Given,  Total distance= 22 kms.
We know that,
Distance = Speed x Time
Suppose, time taken to travel by car is T mins.
So According to ques -
22 = 30T + 18(1-T)
T= 1/3
Now, distance by car = 30 x 1/3
= 10 kms.
